On June 27, 2019, Matty Roberts, a young Bakersfield college student, posted an event on Facebook called “Storm Area 51, They Can’t Stop All of Us.” The event description said: "We will all meet up at the Area 51 Alien Center tourist attraction and coordinate our entry. If we Naruto Run [an attack inspired by Japanese manga, in which people run with their arms outstretched backward and heads forwards], we can move faster than their bullets. Let's see them aliens." This event quickly became one of the most famous viral postings in history, with over two million people committing to going to the Nevada desert on September 20. Area 51, part of the larger Nevada Test and Training Range at Nellis Air Force Base, has been the subject of conspiracy theories that say the U.S. military is housing secrets about aliens and UFOs. The U.S. government denied Area 51’s existence for decades before public records request in 2013 showed it to be real. The posting was meant as a joke, but the federal government issued stern warnings about any attempt to actually enter Area 51. As a result, the Facebook event has been revised to a peaceful gathering of alien fans in Rachel, Nevada called Alienstock, featuring music, camping, art and “surprise performances.” Two or three competing festivals will also take place nearby at the same time.
The Storm Area 51 television series will document the September gatherings in the Nevada desert, including many exclusive interviews with alien seekers, both celebrity and everyday people. We will show the backstory of people who want more truthful answers from our government about its alien research. The series crew has already filmed dozens of hours throughout the country, interviewing many who claim to have had close encounters with aliens, as well as scientific experts. We’ve also visited many government scientific sites that are investigating deep space for any signs of alien presence. The series will include archival footage, dramatic re-enactments, and coverage of some of the most exclusive filming locations known to experts in the field.
We have had tremendous luck so far and are working with the very best organizations to bring the absolute, unadulterated truth to our viewers. This will be an exciting, often riveting series that is sure to engage audiences worldwide.
Were producing the 1st TV Series leading up to this event and during. Will you be there September 20th? Do you have a great story?
